Pink Salmon are in the river now.
The rain we just got over the past 2 days helped out the river levels and temperature. Today the Skagit River was not fishable, but it will be back in shape by tomorrow. We are taking nice chrome bright pink salmon on the lower Skagit River. We had a Coho on the other day, but it came unbuttoned.
Our partner guide, Captain Ryan Bigley says they are getting into some Coho in the saltwater, as well as pink salmon. We should start seeing a few more Coho in the river as we move into mid September.
I am looking forward to the weather getting back to normal with showers and rain here and there. This keeps the river at its optimum condition for new fish to move in each day.
If you are looking for a great outdoor experience, give us a call or email. We have opportunities available for both the river and Puget Sound saltwater.
