At Ridge to River Outdoors, LLC we believe in giving back. Although we run a small, owner-operated business, we recognize the value of making a meaningful donation to help non-profits reach their goals. That’s why we proudly donate a limited number of trips each year to qualified organizations.
Each calendar year, we donate one trip each to two non-profits. As a result, your organization can raise funds by auctioning or raffling a guided fishing experience. Typically, this trip includes up to four anglers and carries a $1,100 value. However, it often auctions for $3,000 to $5,000, depending on your event’s attendance and format. In contrast, raffles may bring in a range of results.
Donation Request Guidelines
Before applying, please review the eligibility requirements. To qualify, your organization must fall into one of these categories:
- A registered 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) non-profit based in Washington State
- A government agency (city, county, or state) hosting a community-focused program
- A private or charter school with an approved fundraising event
- A faith-based organization running programs like food pantries or clothing closets
- A military non-profit that supports active-duty or veteran service members

You must submit documentation with your request. For example, please include your non-profit status letter, compensation structure, third-party ratings, and a brief explanation of how you plan to use the funds.third-party charity ratings, and your annual budget. Furthermore, you must include a clear statement describing how the raised funds will be used.
Submission Period
Submit your request between October 1st and October 15th each year. We review all submissions and announce our decisions by October 31st. For example, if you apply in October 2025, your donation will apply to the 2026 calendar year.
If Selected for a Donation
If selected, your organization will receive a donation certificate for the event. We determine the available fishing trip range for the winner based on the time of year and fishery conditions. If poor weather makes a trip unsafe, we’ll work with the winner to reschedule within the calendar year.
Please note: the trip must take place within the awarded year. It cannot carry over into the following year.
We are honored to support worthy causes through meaningful experiences on the water. Because of your work, we are inspired to contribute when possible.
