Rich Olson – Associate Charter Captain
Owner, Northwest Fishing Charters
Rich Olson is a full-time charter captain with more than four decades of experience fishing Puget Sound. In fact, Rich grew up on these waters, learning from his father and refining his techniques over the years. Today, he applies that knowledge on every trip, helping clients get on the fish while keeping things relaxed and fun.

Rich remembers fishing Possession Bar as a kid — one of the Sound’s most productive fishing areas. To this day, he draws on those early lessons to teach his own clients how to read the tides, find bait, and land big fish.

Jon Blank – Pro BASS Angler & Guide
Tournament Angler, Private Bass Fishing Instructor
Jon Blank is a hardworking, passionate angler with decades of experience. Growing up on the rivers of the Olympic Peninsula, Jon chased steelhead, salmon, and trout before expanding into the competitive bass fishing scene.
Now living in the Puget Sound region, he continues his outdoor lifestyle through archery hunting, bird hunting, and competitive fishing.

Jon fishes the Northwest Bass Tournament Circuit, placing in the top five for Angler of the Year and winning the Banks Lake Opener in 2012. He’s committed to sharing what he’s learned through private bass fishing lessons, where he focuses on education and hands-on skill building.
His Cayman 21-foot bass boat is fully equipped for two anglers. Jon uses premium gear from brands like St. Croix Rods, Abu Garcia, Vicious Fishing, and Vision Hooks & Tackle.

Nathan Shepker – Full-Time Fly Fishing Guide
Owner, Top Fly Guide Service
We receive countless calls about fly fishing every year, which is why we’re proud to have Nathan Shepker on the Team. Nathan is a full-time fly fishing guide based near Ellensburg, WA, and he owns and operates Top Fly Guide Service.

Nathan offers guided trips year-round, focusing on trout and smallmouth bass. From May to June, he targets bass on the lower Yakima River before switching to trout as summer flows begin. Later in the season, he guides for summer-run steelhead on the Klickitat River and rotates between the Yakima and Klickitat Rivers into the fall.
Whether guiding a beginner or a seasoned fly angler, Nathan enjoys the relationships he builds on the water — full of laughter, stories, and connection.
