Fishing Classic – Seminar

The Fishing Classic at Cabela’s is Saturday April 16th & Sunday April 17th. This means savings in the fishing department and more! At the Cabela’s in Tulalip there will be pro anglers and experts providing free seminars to help you get ready for your family fishing adventures.

SATURDAY, APRIL 16TH

11:00am: Gearing up for Lingcod – Learn from local expert and Cabela’s Pro-Staff, Nick Kester, what you need this season to catch trophy-size lingcod.

12:00pm: Homewater Opportunities – Join us to learn from local expert, Doug Saint-Denis, and talk about the best fishing spots in the area. We’ll discuss local fishing resources for freshwater and saltwater fishing and what each have to offer anglers.

1:00pm: Baker Lake Sockeye Fishing – Local expert, Doug Saint-Denis, is in store to talk techniques, pro tips, gear and set-up to consistently put Sockeye in your boat from Baker Lake and other western Washington lakes.

2:00pm: Fishing Tips & Tactics – Come learn about the latest gear and techniques from our knowledgeable Outfitters. If you like to troll for salmon or cast for early trout, our team is ready to share their advice and swap fishing stories.

3:00pm: Searching for Springers – Local experts and Cabela’s Pro-Staff, Jim and Jennifer Stahl, are on hand to answer all your questions about getting geared up for springer season.

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 17TH

11:00am: Intro to Trout Fishing – Geared to ages 14 and younger.  This season, make it a family affair out on the water! Get the kids outfitted for a safe and successful fishing adventure with help from Cabela’s Pro-Staff, Jennifer & Jim Stahl.

1:00pm: The Basics of Fly Casting—for the Ladies.  Ladies, team up with Don Simonson, Cabela’s Pro-Staff and IFFF Master Certified Casting Instructor, for simple instruction and discover why so many are enjoying this fast growing sport.

2:00pm: Fishing Tips & Tactics – Come learn about the latest gear and techniques from our knowledgeable Outfitters. If you like to troll for salmon or cast for early trout, our team is ready to share their advice and swap fishing stories.

3:00pm: Spring Salmon Secrets – Gary Krein, Cabela’s Pro-Staff, will teach you the secrets to a successful Salmon season. Learn about the right gear, honey holes, and best techniques to catch you a real trophy!
