The Pink Salmon opener is August 1st. Pink Salmon is a highly anticipated fishery. This is the smaller of our salmon species returning to Pacific Northwest rivers, but they taste great and fight hard. This is the perfect for all ages and levels of fishing experience. Pink Salmon fishing is especially good for kids! It lets them fight and land many fish during an outing. This will create memories to last a lifetime.
You should be geared up by now, but if you still have to get your hands on the right gear, you have time. Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville, WA. is your tackle store to find all the necessary gear. Light tackle and gear is preferred for Pink Salmon. Dick Nite Spoons will be my “Go To” lure for pinks. Size #1, in pink, 50/50, and nickleback frog are great colors to get you started.
